Seller rating Vs Product reviews

I am working with a Amazon seller that has alot of product reviews but hardly any seller reviews.

Does this make a huge amount of difference? Or is the goal to just pursue product ratings?

Would be great to hear advice.

  • Seller ratings are only really valuable for resellers competing for the buy-box. For owners of their own brand the value goes down.

    They are still essential for maintaining account health, but not so much for actually improving a products sales.
