Am I unlucky?

Running a promo this week. Only high rated reviewers with good rating approved.
So as a result received 3 orders today - one for 15 pieces, one for 17 pieces, one for 20 pieces all for 99% discount.
I wondering is there any chance to avoid this in the future? Had previously the same but not for such big quantities.

  • There are 5 things to keep in mind when creating promos:

    1. Never discount the %, choose to discount the cost only
    2. Never discount the %, choose to discount the cost only
    3. Never discount the %, choose to discount the cost only
    4. Never discount the %, choose to discount the cost only
    5. Never discount the %, choose to discount the cost only
  • Some orders are still pending but the ones that are active - all with the same delivery name and address but from different Amazon accounts. Reported.

Sorry to hear that @artweb! Next time, I would do what @hoperr says and also best practices are always to limit your promotion to one redemption per customer in Seller Central (step 15 here: https://www.amztracker.com/blog/single-use-amazon-promo-codes/). Also of course, making sure that your promo is publicly hidden from your listing.

Feel free to PM me your product/account and we can try and figure out the bad eggs on our end. Thanks!
